"We first came across the high quality finishes of J Foster Building Services on restoration and re-building work on an old barn adjacent to our house. The work was presented well and the attention to detail excellent. This prompted us to approach James and ask him to tender for the hard landscaping work on the land at the rear of our house. Of the three tenders that we received his was the best value and so we proceeded with the plan that had been created by a landscape design company.

Above all James is open, honest and produces work of excellent quality. Our discussions allowed a frank exchange of views and we heeded advice from James as the planning stages came to an end. The weather was dreadful but the work continued and as the landscaping progressed ideas and solutions to problems were put in place. Where there was opportunity James and his co-workers put in long shifts to make up for time lost to the weather. James dealt directly with the designers and the digger driver and modifications to the original plans were incorporated in the build wherever good common sense dictated. There were no hidden costs nor were there any disputes between us and the monies paid were those quoted for many months before. The outcome is a stunning piece of landscaping that enjoys quality finishes to all aspects of the build, including the dry stone walling, and we are delighted with it. We are now planting up and enjoying the ability to relax in our lovely new garden.
